Re: Getting Blue screen error in Windows XP
Follow these steps to solve:-
1.Restart the computer and When the Gateway logo appears on the screen, press the F2 key repeatedly.
2.Arrow over to "Boot" and Ensure that the external optical drive is plugged into a USB port.
3.Refer to on screen instructions to set the first device to "USB CDROM" and Press the CD-ROM drive eject button and insert the System CD.
4.Close the CD-ROM tray and Press "F10", then press "Enter" to save the changes and reboot the system.
5.The computer will boot from the Gateway Recovery Media
6.When prompted for the Recovery CD, remove the System CD and insert the Recovery CD
